Sony Discontinues 70-200mm F2.8 G SSM II
Very strange ...Sony.com lists the 70-200mm F2.8 G SSM II as discontinue is this the end of A-Mount?

Sony to release new NEX camera in 2012

http://www.sonyalpharumors.com has an interesting post today. Sony is apparently planning to release 3 new NEX cameras in 2012 and will also be focusing on the E-mount lens line-up. This isn't a bad thing considering the great reception that the NEX-7 has received I just hope that they will continue to expand on the Alpha line-up and lenses.
The E-Mount is a nice alternative but I just do not believe it is where the professional market will head and in my opinion if you do not start to enter the pro-market and take it seriously your fortunes in the camera business will turn on a dime. Ask Kodak!
